Steps for Honey Glazed Ribs

1. Blanch the ribs, drain and cool them down.

2. Add all ingredients except honey to the ribs.honeyPut on gloves and wrap the seasonings around the ribs.

3. Rub the ribs with the seasoning well.

4. Let the seasoned ribs marinate for two hours.

5. Arrange the marinated ribs on a baking tray in the microwave.microwaveoven

6. Microwave for 6 minutes, brush with honey, and return to the oven for another 4 minutes before taking out.

Tips

Little secrets for perfect roasted ribs:

If you don't have time to marinate, massage the ribs by hand a bit more to ensure better flavor penetration. Don’t apply too much sauce as the meat on the rib bones is not plentiful and will easily absorb flavors.

Since the ribs were blanched, they are mostly already cooked. If you skip the blanching step, the ribs can be fully cooked in 5 minutes using a microwave. Adjust cooking time according to personal preference; I used 10 minutes for this recipe to avoid overcooking and drying out the meat.

Applying more honey will make the exterior of the ribs shiny and delicious.
