1. Crush the Chuanbei into powder using a pestle and mortar.
2. Peel and core the snow mume, then cut them into pieces.
3. Place the diced snow mume and Chuanbei powder in a clay pot with an appropriate amount of water and simmer for 1 hour.
4. For extra sweetness, add some rock sugar if desired.
It tastes better when chilled.
