Ingredients

  Mutton200g

Flatbread wrappers - 150g

Appropriate amount of sesame oil

Fish sauce

  Black pepperAppropriate amount

  Soy sauce (light)Appropriate amount

  Monosodium glutamate (MSG)Appropriate amount

How to Make Fuzhou Flatbread

1. Chop the meat into paste, add light soy sauce, sugar, and MSG for seasoning, marinate for about 15 minutes.

2. This is the current flatbread wrapper, made from (or can be made using) flour.millet flour.

3. Take a thin flatbread wrapper and place it on your hand.

4. Place an appropriate amount of meat paste inside.

5. Fold the corners up and down to seal.

6. It becomes a flower shape.

7. Arrange on a plate for later use.

8. Pour an appropriate amount of fish sauce into a bowl.

9. This is the fish sauce.

10. Add sesame oil, black pepper, and a little bit of vinegar.

11. Add boiling water or pork bone broth to the bowl.

12. Boil water in a pot, then add the wrapped flatbreads.

13. Once the flatbreads float, remove them from the pot and place them in the bowl with the sauce, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve.

Tips

Flatbread is very easy to cook; it's just ready when it floats. If overcooked, the wrapper may become mushy or break!!
