Coconut Scone

Ingredients

250 grams of low flour

50 grams of coconut flakes

Steps for making coconut scones

1. Pre-sift the flour and baking powder together, then add sugar and coconut flakes. Cut the butter into small pieces with the dry ingredients (I used pre-packaged butter and just crushed it through a plastic bag).FlourMix the ingredients until they are combined.

Gradually add milk while mixing with a fork or chopstick, stopping when there is no dry flour left. Knead into a dough if necessary.Fold the dough four times, repeating twice, then roll it to about 2 cm thick (you can skip this step if you prefer).BaoziUse cookie cutters to shape the dough (after making around 50 pieces, I had some leftover dough which I shaped into Weizai small figurines and placed in the gaps during baking; it was a lot of fun! ).Oven

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Bake for about 20 minutes on the middle rack.
