1. Peel and wash the lotus root, then slice it and set aside in a pot.

2. In a pot, add enough cold water to cover the lotus root, then add 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of red sugar, and 1 tablespoon of rice wine; cook over high heat until boiling, then simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens.soy sauce, sprinkle whitesesameand it's ready to serve. Serve with a drizzle of honey or sugar osmanthus for better taste.
