How to Make Nian Mai Zi

Ingredients,
Glutinous rice,rice flour,cornstarch,pumpkin,,purple yam,instant,black,sesame,powder, sugar,butter,fine coconut flakes.
Steps,
1, peel the purple yamsteam until cooked, add an appropriate amount of sugar and butter, mix while hot to make a paste, for the purple yam filling;2, add instant black sesame powder bit by bit with an appropriate amount of warm water, sugar, and butter, stir to form a paste, for the black sesame filling;
3, steam the pumpkin until cooked, then add glutinous rice flour, cornstarch,
corn oil (in a ratio of 5:1:1), mix;4, knead into soft and firm dough;5, divide the purple yam filling, black sesame filling, and pumpkin dough into equal portions;6, take one portion of the pumpkin dough, press it slightly flat, place a piece of filling inside;7, support the dough with one hand and use your thumb to shape it into a round ball using a rolling motion;
8, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, steam for 10-15 minutes after water boils;
9, carefully remove, roll each one in fine coconut flakes evenly.
6 Take a small pumpkin dough ball, slightly flatten it into a sheet shape, and place some filling inside;



7 Hold the dough with one hand and use your thumb on the other to pinch and roll the edges to form a round dumpling, then press it into a ball;
8 Placeit on parchment paper,steam for 10-15 minutes over high heat after the water boils;
9 Carefully remove, and evenly coat each one with fine coconut flakes.
