How to Make Onigiri

Ingredients/Seasonings
Long glutinous riceRice wine soaked glutinous rice 2 cupsPreserved turnip 1/2 cup
Salted vegetable 1/2 cup
Oil cake 1 piece cut into 4 segments
Peanuts powder (with sugar) 1/4 cupGarlic 1 tablespoon
Soy oil 1 teaspoonSalt 1/2 teaspoon
Sugar 1 tablespoon
Fried dough sticks 1 piece cut into 4 segments
[Process]
(1) Rinse long glutinous rice and soak in water for 2 hours. Finely chop garlic, and prepare oil cake.

(2) Drain the long glutinous rice and place it in a large bowl. Steam using an electric cooker for 25 minutes until fully cooked; keep warm.
(3) Heat oil in a wok, sauté garlic until fragrant, then add preserved turnip and salted vegetable and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
(4) Add all seasonings, mix well to infuse the flavor, and set aside.(5) Take a transparent plastic bag and lay it flat. Place a bowl of long glutinous rice in the middle, flatten into a circle.Long glutinous rice
(6) Sprinkle with peanut powder (with sugar), then add the stir-fried preserved turnip, salted vegetable, and 1 piece of oil cake.
(7) Fold both sides of the rice toward the center to wrap tightly, forming an elongated oval shape.
(5)Lay out a transparent plastic bag flat, take 1 bowl of long-grain glutinous rice.spread it on the plastic bag and flatten it into a circle.(6)Sprinkle peanut powder, followed by the radish cake crumbs and salted vegetable crumbs in sequence, then add 1 piece of fried dough stick.
(7)Fold both sides of the rice towards the center to wrap tightly, forming a long oval shape.
(7) Fold the rice from both sides towards the center, wrapping it tightly. Shape the ingredients into a long sticky rice cake and press it into an elongated oval shape.
