Wing TipsIngredients: 500 grams of wing tips, two garlic cloves,
star anise, white wine (or cooking wine), oil, salt, dark soy sauce,
light soy sauceall in appropriate amounts
StewedChicken WingsMethod:1 Marinate the wing tips with light soy sauce and white wine for 3-4 hours before preparation;
2 After 3-4 hours, drain as much water from the marinated wing tips as possible (to prevent oil splashing), then fry them until both sides are golden brown in hot oil;
3 Remove the cooked wing tips and discard excess oil; stir-fry the garlic in a small amount of oil;
4 Return the wing tips to the pot, add water, dark soy sauce, star anise, mix well, then simmer on medium heat;
5 Once the sauce is mostly reduced and slightly thickened, it's ready to be served.
When the sauce has mostly reduced and slightly thickened into a gel-like consistency, remove from heat.
