The main ingredients are oil.Tofu skin.A piece of tofu skin, 3 ounces of meat filling.
Seasonings include green onions,ginger.
Seasoning sauces include cooking wine,fresh scallop sauce seasoning,salt,black pepper powder., cornstarch,MSGas needed.
Steps:
First, prepare the meat filling.
Finely chop green onions and ginger, add to the meat filling. Then add 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of fresh scallop sauce seasoning (if none, use soy sauce as a substitute),1 tablespoon of cooking wine,half a teaspoon of black pepper powder, half a teaspoon of MSG, stir in one direction until well mixed and marinated.
Second, wrap the tofu skin roll.
1. Cut each piece of tofu skin into four small square pieces with scissors.2. Soften them slightly in cold water.3. Arrange the meat filling in a long strip shape on the center of the tofu skin.
4. Fold one corner of the tofu skin up.
5. Fold the two horizontal corners respectively.6. Apply a little cornstarch to the last corner, as the wet tofu skin will stick well with it.7. Place the wrapped meat roll so that the sealed end is down and arrange them neatly on a plate.
8. Heat a flat-bottomed pan or electric griddle.
9. Sauté on low heat until both sides turn golden, but do not fully cook through.
10. Turn over to place all the rolls with sealed ends downward on the plate.
11. Add 2 tablespoons of fresh scallop sauce seasoning.
12. Cut green onions and ginger finely, and arrange them on top of the tofu roll.13. Before cooking in a pot, pour half a cup of water (best use meat broth) and one tablespoon of MSG over the seasoned tofu skin rolls to cover one-third of the rolls.14. Place the filled plate into a pot with water on high heat.
15. Cover the lid and cook at high fire for 20-30 minutes after steam is produced.
16. Turn off the heat, remove and discard the wilted green onion and ginger pieces.
Serving time!
Cut the green onion and ginger into fine strips.
Before placing them in the pot, pour half a bowl of water (preferably meat broth) over the seasoned tofu rolls to cover one-third of the roll, add a spoonful of chicken essence.Place the dish in a pot with water that has come to a boil.
Cover the pot and cook on high heat.Steam.Prepare.
Once steam starts, cook for 20-30 minutes on high heat.
Turn off the heat and remove the withered green onion and ginger strips from the surface.Serve!
