How to make slippery and chewy sea cucumber steamed egg?

1. Soak the sea cucumber in advance; beat the egg into a batter and mix with an equal or 1:1.5 volume of water.

 

 

 

2. Strain the egg mixture into a steamer bowl, add half of the chopped sea cucumber, prick the surface of the batter to prevent it from puffing up too much, cover with cling film

3. Place water in a pot and bring to a boil; steam for 8-10 minutes on low heat, then add the remaining sea cucumber pieces and continue steaming for another 3-5 minutes. Garnish with chopped chives before serving,Soy sauceand drizzle with sesame oil for seasoning.
