Oily Stewed Fish

Chinese carp750g

Steps for making stewed carp

1. Remove the scales and innards from the fish, wash it clean

2. Cut the fish into segments

3. Heat some oil in a pan

4. Once the oil is hot, add the fish to fry

5. After frying, transfer the fish to a soup pot

6. Addginger andandstar anise

7. Add several(Sichuan pepper) grainsand simmer for half an hour

8. Add salt and MSG

9. Add black pepper powder and continue to simmer for a few minutes

Drain the fish in a plate after 10.3 minutes.

10. After 3 more minutes, remove the fish from the pot onto a platePourstewed fish sauceandvinegar over the fish before serving

Tips

When frying the fish, don't use flourDirectly fry it to prevent splattering. Make sure to pat the fish dry after washing to avoid oil splashing during frying.Dry the fish well before frying to prevent oil from splattering.
