Ingredients:
Glutinous Rice200 grams, sugar 50 grams (adjust the quantity according to your taste), silver
Almonds,
Mountain HawthornBao,
GrapesDriedand honey
Raisinsin appropriate amounts, water starch.
Steps:
1. Soak the glutinous rice for more than 4 hours, then drain the water;
2.
Steama dampened steaming cloth, spread the glutinous rice evenly on it, and steam over high heat for about 20 minutes;
3. Remove the steamed glutinous rice from the pot,
Riceand mix in the sugar (pig oil would make it more delicious but I didn't add it for health reasons);

Pork Fat(can be omitted for health reasons).
4. Place a large bowl, arranging the fruits neatly;
5. Top with glutinous rice, then another layer of fruit, and cover the remaining rice to level the bowl;
6. Steam in a pot over high heat for 30 minutes, then carefully remove the bowl and invert it onto a plate while still hot.
7. Surround with silver almonds, cook the sauce in a pan using water starch, adjust sweetness to taste by adding sugar if needed, and pour this sauce over the glutinous rice eight-treasure congee.
Eight Treasure Rice is ready.It can be served immediately.
