Ingredients:Beef shank(best ifbeef brisket
)Seasonings:Doubanjiangsauce,garlic, fresh ginger,red onion (optional), dried red chili pepper,Sichuan peppercorns,star anise, sand ginger,fennel seed,and cassia bark(just ran out of cinnamon bark), salt, chicken powder, etc.
Preparation:
