Editor: Chinese Food Network Mobile site

Ingredients:

Tofu skin250 grams of threads

Chili peppers1 piece (sliced)

Sesame oil 1 tablespoon

Dried red chili peppers a little bit

Salt 1 teaspoon

Dark soy sauce 2 teaspoonsChicken stock or water 50 milliliters

Water starch 2 tablespoonsMethod:

1. Heat sesame oil in the pan over low heat.

1. When hot, add dried red chili peppers and fry until fragrant, then add cleaned tofu skin threads, stir-fry over high heat, season with salt and dark soy sauce.

2. Once the tofu skin threads are fully cooked, add chicken stock or water, cover the pot, and simmer on medium heat for 2 minutes. Finally, pour in 2 tablespoons of water starch to thicken the sauce, then remove from heat.Tips: Three points to keep in mind when making vegetarian meat-like strips:

1. Use high heat when stir-frying as tofu skin threads are hard to cook evenly due to their quantity.2. Adding some dried red chili peppers will make it more appetizing despite not being very spicy.

3. After adding chicken stock or water, simmering is necessary to ensure better flavor penetration.

Stir-fry the shreds of meat with high heat and ensure they are evenly flipped, as tofu threads can be hard to cook through.

Add some dried red peppers when stir-frying to enhance appetite.Actually, it is not spicy at all.

After adding chicken broth, make sure to braise for a while so the "shreds of meat" will absorb more flavor.
