Many Cantonese and Sichuan chefs look down on Northeastern cuisine.Among the eight major Chinese culinary traditions,Northeastern cuisine seems to have struggled for a place. Due to geographical factors, Northeastern cuisine is known for its aromatic richness and slightly salty taste, with meat dishes being predominant. In today's health-conscious society, it isn't very popular. Moreover, in terms of presentation, it doesn't measure up to Cantonese cuisine. But I like it because I am a chef myself.
