Ingredients:Packed dumplings,water, and cooking oil.
Steps:
1. Place the packed dumplings in a flat-bottom pan,arrange them properly with space between each dumpling.2. Add half a bowl of water, ensuring it covers the bottom of the dumplings slightly.
3. Add a few drops of cooking oil to prevent sticking.
4. Put on the lid and cook until most of the water has evaporated.
5. Pour in more cooking oil; the amount is similar to that used for stir-frying.
6. Cook over medium heat until the dumpling skin turns golden brown.
Tip:
1. Oil is added twice during the process: once to prevent sticking while boiling, and again for frying.
The first time, only a few drops are needed; the second time, more can be used. The oil from the second addition can be reused after cooking.2. Boiling the dumplings before frying ensures they cook thoroughly.
Before frying, boil the dumplings in water first to ensure they cook through easily.
