Not really, what I ate when young was a bowl with a piece of pig fat at the bottom.Add some hot rice on top..Then add some salt and monosodium glutamate (MSG)..Very fragrant. Try it out. If you find too much pig fat, just use a small piece instead.It's delicious.(Remember, this was during childhood when we were playing and got hungry before our parents finished cooking; it tasted great! )Remember when we were kids and playing hungry games, enjoying the aroma before the grown-ups finished cooking?
