How to Make Dòupào Ham Stew

Ingredients:Bean curd puffs250 grams,Ham100 grams,Green bell peppers2 pieces, driedDried red chili peppers5 pieces,Gingerand garlic, a little bit for seasoning: 3 tablespoons of oil,1 tablespoon of soy sauce,2 tablespoons of (fermented broad bean paste),1/2 tablespoon of sugar, 1/3 tablespoon of salt, 1/2 tablespoon of chicken powderCooking Method (for two servings):1 Slice the ham and blanch it in boiling water, then drain and dry.Slice the ginger into strips and mince the garlic. Cut the green bell peppers into pieces.2 Heat 3 tablespoons of oil, stir-fry the ginger strips and minced garlic.

Add the sliced ham and stir-fry for 2 minutes, then add the bean curd puffs, green bell peppers, and dried chili peppers, and mix well.

3 Pour in a bowl of water, add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of fermented broad bean paste, 1/2 tablespoon of sugar, 1/3 tablespoon of salt, and 1/2 tablespoon of chicken powder, and stir-fry until well combined.4 Cover and simmer until the sauce is thickened, then serve.

Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a pan, stir-fry the ginger strips until fragrant.

Add the ham slices and stir-fry for 2 minutes, then add the bean curd puffs, green peppers, and dried red chili peppers and mix well.Pour in 1 bowl of water, add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of (red bean paste), 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, 1/3 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of chicken powder and stir-fry until well combined.

Cover and simmer until the sauce thickens, then it can be served.
