Loach thrives in warm water and cannot tolerate low temperatures; it generally cannot survive when the water temperature drops below 7°C.Other regions can cultivate loach artificially under insulated conditions.Loach is produced all year round, with peak harvesting from April to June.Loach has a flattened body, slightly convex back before the dorsal fin.It has two pairs of whiskers, large scales, a greenish-white body, round belly without ridges, fine and numerous spines, tender flesh with a slight earthy smell.
