People know I lived in China before, but earlier I was also in Japan.Thinking back on my life in Japan, what I miss most are the pastries. The bread layer,so this time I want to make a honeydew bread.
Making honeydew bread involvesthe layer aboveand the bread layer below. To make the cookies, butterneeds to be prepared:
30 grams of room temperaturebutter(about 2.5 tablespoons)
40 grams of sugar
20 grams ofegg
90 grams oflow-gluten flour1/4 teaspoon baking powder
For the bread,
150 grams of
high-gluten flour20 grams of sugar
100 grams of water and eggs
12 grams of margarine
1 teaspoon less milk
1 teaspoon yeastand half a teaspoon salt.
First, mix the butter and sugar in a bowl until soft.
Then add the egg,
mix in the flour and baking powder,

shape into a stick,

wrap with cling film,

and refrigerate.

Next, mix the bread ingredients in the bowl to form a dough.

Take it out of the bowl

knead until elastic,

place in a warm place for an hour of fermentation until doubled in size.
Then shape into 8 ball-like shapes,

let rest for 15 minutes before fermenting again.

Cut the cookie ingredients into 8 slices.

Place between two sheets of cling film and flatten with a rolling pin.

Remove the top sheet

put on the dough balls,

wrap up.

Remove the bottom sheet,

let sit for 20 minutes.

Cut a few lines on top to resemble a honeydew melon.

This is to prevent the cookies from cracking during baking.

Make sure the cookies remain moist.

Dust with sugar,

then place in

the oven

at 210 degrees (410F) for 10-12 minutes until golden brown on the bottom.

After cooling, you're done.

This is your honeydew bread.

put in the sugar

in the ovenat 210 degrees (410F) for 10-12 minutes

until below is golden brown

cool down before serving

enjoy the honeydew bread
