How to make winter melon pig kidney soup:
1. Wash the pig kidneys, slice them, and blanch in boiling water before setting aside for use.
2. Peel and seed the winter melon, then cut it into pieces; soak and wash the shiitake mushrooms, removing their stems: soak the job's tears, chinese yam, and astragalus, washing them.
