Spicy Beef with Peanut Sauce

  Peanut sauceThe steps for making1. Prepare all the ingredients.

  2. Wash the beef, cut it into small pieces with a knife.3. Pour oil into a pan and heat it up, then turn off the fire.4. Add Sichuan pepper and dry red chili; fry them using the remaining heat of the oil, remove them after frying.

  5. Turn on the fire again, add beef pieces and quickly stir-fry.

  6. Lower the heat and add sweet bean sauce; do not use too high a flame, keep it low.

  7. Add fried peanuts and stir-fry.

  8. Bring the sauce to a boil after adding chili powder.

  9. After all ingredients are added, simmer over low heat until the sauce boils, then turn off the fire; let it cool before bottling.

  10. The beef can be minced according to personal preference.

  The peanuts should be split into halves when fried for better texture.

  No water or salt is needed in this sauce as sweet bean sauce is already quite salty.

  When bottling the sauce, make sure it has cooled down completely.
