Bake in the oven for 12 minutes or until formed but not overly golden.Remove and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes.

Place another layer of parchment paper on a baking sheet, then place the baked broomstick cookies on it.Melt the chocolate chips over gentle heat, stirring continuously until smooth.

Spread a layer of chocolate onto the broomstick cookie, leaving an inch at the stick's tip and the bristle end.Let the chocolate set before serving.
