In the United States, there is a concept called bake sale.It's an organized fundraising activity by classes or sports teams at school.Everyone brings their own baked goods to sell.Items like cakes,eggs,buns,muffins, etc., are sold.One of the most representative items from a bake sale is Chocolate Brownie.

 

The materials needed for making brownies include:

  • 1 1/4 cupsall-purpose flour170 grams of unsweetened baking chocolate
  • (about 1.5 blocks)1.5 blocks (0.75 cup, 120 ml, 170 grams) of butter2 1/4 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs1 cup chopped nuts 1/3 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract.First, place the oven rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 165 degrees (325.F).
  • Line a rectangular pan with two pieces of aluminum foil standing up on the sides,cross over at the corners, and press them down.Then coat it with peanut or vegetable oil.
  • Cut the butter into six pieces.
  • Shred the chocolate.
  • Make sure to use baking chocolate for this purpose.

Toast the nuts on another baking dish for 5-8 minutes until they start giving off a fragrance.Then break them up.In a small bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and baking powder.

In a large bowl, combine the chocolate and butter.

Microwave it on high for 45 seconds.

Mix lightly.

Then put it back in the microwave for another 35 seconds to check if the chocolate has melted; continue microwaving in intervals of 15 seconds until fully melted but be careful not to burn it.Once melted, mix in the sugar.Gradually add and mix in the eggs one at a time.

Using the one-third rule, mix in a third of the flour mixture,

then stir, add another third, stir again, then the last third, stirring well each time.Pour the batter into the pan.

Sprinkle the nuts on top.

Bake for 30-35 minutes. Take it out of the oven when done.

Let it cool on a table for two hours before serving.
