Fried Potato Strips Preparation Steps
1. Wash the potatoes and cut them into strips about as thick as a chopstick.

Puffed Walnut Nuts Preparation Steps
1. Soak the walnut pieces in water, change the water when it turns yellow, do this two or three times (to remove the bitterness).
Nuts should be spread out flat on a plate without overlapping to ensure even heating.
One can also sprinkle some granulated sugar for those who like sweet flavors, or some salt for those who prefer salty flavors; you can eat it in its original flavor as well.CreamIt might also be nice but I haven't tried it.
4. Microwave on high for 2 minutes to 2 minutes and 30 seconds (depending on the size of the walnuts, mine took 2 minutes and 20 seconds).
5. Take out and let cool for a few minutes.
6. Heat again in microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds, then take out and let cool — now it's up to you, enjoy!
Tips
1. The longer you soak the walnuts and change the water more times, the less bitter they will be. Soaking them a day ahead is even better.
2. Sprinkle sugar, salt or eat in its original flavor according to personal preference; adding cream might also be nice but I haven't tried it.
3. Heat separately to achieve crispness; don't microwave all at once for 3 minutes as this may cause them to burn and lose their crispiness.
2. Rinse the potato strips with starch removed, then boil in a pot until 70% done.

4. Mix in cornstarch.
5. Toss evenly.
6. Heat oil in a pan, add the potato strips to fry.
7. Fry until the surface of the potato strips turns golden yellow, then add salt.
8. Add sugar.
9. Add chicken powder.
10. Add black sesame seeds and toss evenly.
11. Just before removing from heat, add cilantro segments.
12. Mix well and serve.
Tips
Make sure the fried potato strips are fully cooked until they turn golden brown for a crispy exterior.
