Caramelized Snow Lotus Root Soup

freshlotus seeds200 grams
mushrooms50 grams
Method for making fresh lotus seed soup with rock sugar

1. Peel the fresh lotus seeds, wash them clean, and soak the mushrooms until soft; tear off the petals into small pieces.

2. Place the fresh lotus seeds, mushrooms, and rock sugar in a large bowl; pour in cold water to cover (about 1 cm above the ingredients). Steam for about 50 minutes.

Tips

Serve after refrigerating for better taste.
