Sour Radish Stir-Fried Wood Ear Tofu Dietdish

  Ingredients:

  500g Konjac tofu, 100g sour radishLean meat100gRed bell pepper1

  Seasonings:

  Preparation:

 1. Cut the lean meat into strands, add a little fresh soy sauce, black pepper powder, cornstarch, and sesame oil to marinate.2. Cut the sour radish into strands and soak in water to remove excess salt.3. Cut the konjac tofu into pieces and boil in boiling water for about 10 minutes, then remove and set aside.

4. Mince the fresh ginger and garlic, and cut the red bell pepper into strips.

Instructions:

1. Heat a wok over medium heat, add oil and heat until about 60% cooked. Stir-fry the meat until cooked and set aside.

 2. Add more oil to the wok and heat until about 70% cooked. Add minced ginger, garlic, red bell pepper, and sour radish, and stir-fry until the flavors are combined.

 3. Add the konjac tofu and stir-fry until evenly combined. Add the cooked meat and a little salt, and stir-fry until cooked through.

Additional Notes:

1. Konjac tofu is usually ready to eat straight from the package, but I prefer to boil it before cooking, as boiling removes most of the alkaline taste that is added during konjac tofu production.

  2. Sour radish not only enhances the flavor, but also neutralizes the alkaline in the konjac tofu, making it healthier and tastier.
