OrangesThe ingredients for the sauce: 700g of oranges, 150g of rock sugar,Lemonjuice 50g, and 2 tablespoons of syrup.
How to make orange sauce:
1. Peel the orange, with the white part facing up, remove the white pith carefully with a knife.About 700goforanges's quarter peel is enough.
The peel should not be too much or it will be too bitter.Boil water in a pot, add the sliced orange peels, bring to a boil, then discard the water. This step removes the bitterness from the peel. After boiling, add a little water and blend with a food processor into pulp.

2. Add the fruit flesh to a pan, along with rock sugar, and pour in the orange pulp. Cook over high heat until boiling, then reduce to low heat and continue cooking.
3. Squeeze inlemon juice, stir while cooking until the sauce thickens slightly. Add 2 tablespoons of syrup, stirring continuously for a short while before turning off the heat (I used leftover invert sugar from making mooncakes to enhance flavor and thickness; it's optional if you don't have any.Alternatively, maltsugarcan be used. This recipe was last updated on 2015-12-12.Malt instead of sugarDecember 12, 2015
